Our Stained Glass Windows
Our recently-renovated stained glass windows are a beautiful and enduring part of our church experience – a tradition brought from the old country by our founding members. Every Sunday morning, as we gather together to worship and hear the Gospel of Christ, we are showered with glittering streams of brightly-colored sunlight from these stained glass windows. These windows bring more that the promise of another day, they bring messages from our Holy Bible to stunning life, which we contemplate while participating in services.
Visitors to our church are greeted in our entryway by two windows which have been in our congregation for more than 100 years. This reminds us to continue to welcome new visitors as we have been doing for 175 years – the work of our church which we hope, with the grace of God, will continue for at least another 175 years.
Our Old Stained Glass Windows
Our old stained glass windows are a cherished remnant from our old church building in downtown Buffalo. The windows were dedicated in 1900 for the 75th anniversary of the church and were moved to our new building when it was built in 1964.
