We exist to help people start loving God, each other, and the world.

We want to reach those outside the church:

We are committed to creating a culture that welcomes everyone on the spectrum of faith. We will consistently remind ourselves and our people that we exist for those who are not here yet. We do not exist for "us" but for "them." This means laying down our own biases, preferences, and traditions to speak the language of the culture around us. We want to meet people where they are and call them to something greater without changing the gospel message. The Apostle Paul said, "I have become all things to all people so that by all possible means I might save some." (1 Cor. 9:22) We must be willing to adapt and change to see people's lives transformed by the power of the gospel. Like Jesus, we want to remain on mission to "seek and save the lost." (Luke 19:10).

We want to do what the Bible says:

"And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers. And awe came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were being done through the apostles. And all who believed were together and had all things in common. And they were selling their possessions and belongings and distributing the proceeds to all, as any had need. And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts, praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved." (Acts 2:42-47 ESV)

We feel called to Beatrice, Southeast Nebraska, and the ends of the earth:

Although we are passionate about starting a life-giving church in the city of Beatrice, we see Beatrice as a hub to the larger Gage County community and also feel called to minister to this wider network of people. This includes those counties surrounding Gage County which together make up Southeast Nebraska. We ultimately desire to start more Bible-teaching, Jesus-loving churches throughout this region, providing men of God the opportunity to lead and the people of Nebraska the opportunity to believe. In addition to this, we are also very committed to bringing the gospel to the nations through mission connections and partnerships.

We believe this region needs three things:

  1. Hope

    • We all have moments of difficulty and depression and need to see the light at the end of the tunnel. START discovering the life of joy you were meant to live in Christ, finding love and community in relationship to God's people.

  2. Freedom

    • We all have meaningful rituals and routines that can incidentally become empty religionSTART discovering a life of real relationship with Jesus Christfinding forgiveness and grace in intimacy with God and His Word.

  3. Passion

    • We all have seasons of apathy and indifference towards God and His Church. START discovering a life of excitement and adventure as you live wholeheartedly for God, finding motivation to pursue God every day.
